IEM GETD Seminar 2025

The Geotechnical Engineering Technical Division (GETD) of The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) successfully organised the Seminar on Engineering Challenges of Pile Foundations on Limestone on 25 February 2025 at Armada Hotel, Petaling Jaya.

Invited geotechnical professionals and industry leaders shared practical insights, case studies, and best practices to help engineers better understand and manage the risks posed by such geological conditions through the interactive panel discussion in addressing the complex engineering challenges associated with limestone formations, particularly in the planning, design, and construction of pile foundations.
