IES Geotechnical Conference 2025
On 30 September 2025, we had the privilege of taking part in the IES Geotechnical Conference on the Latest Development on Pile Foundation – Advanced Piling, held at One Farrer Hotel, Singapore. The event brought together engineers, specialists, and industry peers to exchange knowledge on the latest piling technologies, new BCA guidelines, and case studies from real projects.
We’re especially proud that our Technical Adviser for Glostrext Singapore, Er. Chong Yit Wah, was invited as one of the speakers. Er. Chong presented on:
“Recent Development in Pile Instrumentation Methods and Automated Maintained Load Test (aMLT) System.”
In his talk, he shared how pile instrumentation has evolved over the years, and how automation - particularly through the aMLT system - is changing the way load tests are carried out. His insights sparked great discussions about how technology can help engineers work more efficiently, more accurately, and with greater safety on site.
