Structural and ground instrumentation and monitoring services is carried out to ensure the structural health of buildings and facilities as well as ground conditions of a site is safe from hazardous events such as collapse of buildings and/or structures and landslides due to soil erosion.
It is widely used in monitoring of deep excavations, building basement, mining sites, hillside development, slopes and landslides, dams, tunnels and buildings.
We provide structural and ground instrumentation and monitoring services to construction projects to observe the performance of geotechnical design and to ensure the safety of the construction sites and/or the building under construction (e.g. building basement) as the construction progresses.
Apart from construction projects, we also provide structural and ground instrumentation and monitoring services to other sites such as existing buildings, bridges, tunnels, dams and slopes to ensure the structural health and safety of these sites and infrastructure.
We provide on-site and off-site structural and ground instrumentation and monitoring services, as below:

- Requires our employees to be present at the site for data collection upon setup and installation.
- Off-site instrumentation and monitoring services (Glostrext WiNA Platform)
- Using a series of instruments (i.e. sensors) that are equipped with IoT features to collect data, and transmit the data via internet to our in-house developed web-based platform, namely Glostrext WiNA platform at www.glostrext-datacentre.com.
